Vancouver International Airport YVR South Terminal

Harbour Air staff will be at counters for each wheeled flight’s check-in.

Our check-in counter opens 1 hour before departure, and closes 25 minutes prior to departure.

YVR International Airport offers a courtesy shuttle connecting passengers and the public between the South, Domestic, and International Terminals.

Ridesharing – Lyft and Uber are authorized app-based ride sharing services available in Vancouver.  

Car Sharing – Evo Car Share is B.C.’s primary pick-up and drop-off anywhere car sharing service. Use the app to reserve and unlock and drive anywhere in the Evo home zone covering areas around Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and satellites serving UBC, Cap U, SFU and Grouse Mountain. 

SkyTrain – Vancouver has three automated rapid transit SkyTrain lines connecting metro Vancouver. Access the Canada Line at YVR-Airport Station, about 6.6 km from our terminal. Use Waterfront Station to transfer to SkyTrain’s Expo and Millennium Lines, SeaBus, or West Coast Express. 

Taxis – Richmond Taxi (604-272-1111), Garden City Cabs (604-233-1111), and Kimber Cabs (604-278-2155). 

Shuttle –  YVR provides a complimentary South Terminal Shuttle.

Bus – The BC Transit 412 bus to and from Bridgeport Station connects to Harbour Air’s Richmond terminal.

Parking is available adjacent to the South Terminal at hourly or daily rates.

The airport has free WiFi, and dining is available at the Galiano Cafe on-site.

Harbour Air flights operated out of the Vancouver International Airport YVR South Terminal are subject to security (CATSA) screening. Passengers are encouraged to review the CATSA and Transport Canada Guidelines.

For reference, the following items cannot be taken in carry-on baggage:

• Guns, firearms or another device that could seriously injure someone by launching harmful objects. This includes items that could be mistaken for this type of device.
• Devices that can stun or immobilise someone, like tasers, animal stunners, chemicals and sprays like mace, pepper spray, etc.
• Objects that could cause serious injury, like utility knives, razor blades, knives with blades longer than 6cm.
• Tools that could cause serious injury or threaten the safety of aircraft, like hammers, tools with shafts longer than 6cm.
• Blunt objects that could cause serious injury, like baseball bats, golf clubs, hockey sticks.
• Explosive or incendiary substances or devices that could be used to cause serious injury or threaten the safety on the aircraft, including ammunition, flares, fireworks, etc.
• Liquids, aerosols and gels (other than formula, milk, breast milk, juice or food for infants) that’s in a container larger than 100 ml or 100 g and cannot fit in in a 1L sealed clear plastic bag.
